As we officially jump into the spring season with the start of the GSLS for teams U11-U14 this weekend, it seems an appropriate time to highlight some of the successes achieved by our 11-14 year old girls this fall. There is great anticipation and high expectations for the teams in the this group and it is deservedly so when you look at their successes in the fall of 2011.
U11 Girls Blue and Green:
SLSG Gallagher Friendlies - Finalists
SLSG Fall Classic - Semi Finalists (knocked out by eventual Champion)
Gateway Indoor Tournament U12 Champions
BFC Fall Classic - Finalists
Morton Pumpkin Classic - Finalists
Juggling Club:
12 U11G players are in (11 from U11G Blue, 1 from U11G Green),
5 U11 Girls are over 250,
U11G Blue player Rian Hutson is current Girls Overall Leader at 885
U12 Girls: Blue and Green
Finalists in Germantown Invitational Tournament
BFC Fall Classic- Champions
2 Girls in the Juggling Club- one 50 juggle member and one 250 juggle member.
U13 Girls- Blue, Green and White
Cincinnati United Premier Cup- Finalists
SLSG Friendlies- 1st Place
7-1-0 Record in GSLS
Undefeated in TSA Indoor League
Juggle Club- 6 members
U14 Girls Blue and Green
Cincinnati United Premier Cup- Champion
Placed 3rd in MRL with only 1 loss
SLSG Metro Fall Classic- Finalist
According to U11-U14 Girls Technical Director, Shawn Hewitt, "The club is very excited with the direction of our girls program. The number and quality of our recent HS Girls college placements combined with the quality and direction of our younger age groups makes it a very exciting time to be a part of the SLSG Metro Girls Program." Congratulations girls and good luck this spring.
